A family's dream for a fishing retreat on the Crystal River came to a reality when they found this hidden gem.  The home was in need of an update that would be practical and comfortable for their young family to kick-back in style.   Artwork from local artists, their private collection and even some family art and photography adorn the walls.  It has two levels with two distinct needs, so we mixed up the style to give each it's own essence, with the top level a bright, fresh, mid-century coastal vibe while downstairs evokes an Old-Florida fish camp feel with rustic textures and embracing deeper tones. We used durable materials and "kid friendly" fabrics to really allow them to relax on both levels.  Fun antiques, bench-made furniture, local crafts and lush, live plants finish things off to complete this coastal getaway.
